Description

Bishopside Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century. It features a rendered exterior with stone dressings and a stone slate roof, complemented by stone gable stacks. The building has two storeys and three windows across the front. The central doorway is fitted with a 20th-century glazed door and overlight, which is sheltered by a 20th-century porch. To the left of the door, there is a 16-pane sash window, while to the right, there is a 20th-century window set in an older opening. On the first floor, there are three 16-pane sash windows, with the central one being renewed. All windows are adorned with tooled splayed lintels and slightly projecting sills.

The right side of the house features a 12-pane sash window in the attic and a 20th-century window in the outshut. The left side has two 20th-century windows. At the rear, there is a two-storey outshut with a 16-pane sash window and a 12-pane stair window above a modern extension, both of which also have splayed tooled lintels.
