Description
The garden walls to the south and west of High Staward Farmhouse date from the early 19th century and are made of stone and cast iron. The tall wall begins at the north-west corner of the house and is constructed from rubble with a flat coping. It ramps down on the west side of the garden. The south side features a drystone wall with slightly raised coping that supports railings with spearhead standards. Additionally, the wall on the east side of the garden ramps up to a taller section that connects back to the north-east corner of the house.
