Description

This is a bridge built in the early 19th century, located 50 metres south of the Church of Saints Philip and James in Renington, Rock Village. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring sandstone ashlar voussoirs, a soffit, a parapet, and end piers. The bridge has a slightly-recessed center with a single round arch, and it is topped with low flat parapets that have slightly-arched coping. The parapets end in taller square piers that are capped with low pyramidal tops. This bridge is included for its group value.
