Mine offices, second quarter of Cl9. Rubble with rusticated ashlar quoins and door surrounds, ashlar dressings; slate roof with ashlar stacks. L-plan, built into hillside. Road front 1 storey, 6 bays, symmetrical. Boarded doors with margined overlights in 2nd and 5th bays, 12-pane sash windows with raised lintels and sills. Coped gables with moulded kneelers. Stepped and corniced stacks to ridge and at right end. Left return 1 storey + basement, sash window as on front above boarded door; rear wing slightly set back to left has similar window above plainer opening. Stepped ridge stack. Rear elevation 1 storey + basement.
