Description
This dovecote, located approximately 20 yards north-west of Humbleton Buildings Farmhouse, likely dates from the 18th century. It is rendered and features a Welsh slate roof with a wooden entry for the dovecote. The structure is two storeys tall and measures about 12 feet square. On the ground floor, there are two boarded doors: one leads to a garden store on the left, and the other to a privy on the right. Above, there is another boarded door that provides access to the dovecote.
The roof is pyramidal and topped with a square dovecote entry that has four holes on each side, also featuring a pyramidal roof. Inside, the dovecote contains nesting boxes as well as the privy.
