Description

Akeld Steads Farmhouse is a house built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The main block has two parallel projecting wings at the rear. The building has a chamfered plinth and rusticated quoins.

The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays, with a central doorway that is set within a later 19th-century glazed porch. The windows are 12-pane sash windows, each with projecting sills and alternating-block surrounds.

The roof is gabled, featuring flat coping and corniced end stacks.
