Description
Bridge End Cottages are three cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from snecked stone and feature a combination of pantiled and Welsh slate roofing, with raised quoins. The cottages are arranged in two single-storey ranges that are positioned at right angles to each other.
The east range consists of two cottages with eight bays, featuring boarded doors located in later porches at the third and seventh bays. These cottages have 12-pane sash windows. The west range contains one cottage, which is partly roughcast, with five bays and a boarded door in a later porch at the fourth bay. This cottage also has 12-pane sash windows.
Both ranges are topped with hipped roofs and have hollow-chamfered cornices, along with two corniced ridge stacks. The cottages are included for their group value.
