Description

This outbuilding, located 30 meters northeast of Broome Hill Farmhouse, dates back to 1702 and features the initials T B (for Thomas Burwell) carved in relief within a sunk panel on the door lintel. The structure is made of roughly-squared stone with cut dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The south elevation has two low storeys and three bays, with two boarded doors in chamfered surrounds, one of which has the dated lintel. There are several blocked stone-surround windows, and the gables have 20th-century coping. Each return has a blocked first-floor window, while the rear elevation displays two boarded doors with timber lintels.
