Description

The screen walls and gatepiers located approximately 10 yards southeast of Akeld Lodge date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of random rubble, featuring ashlar piers and coping. The walls are low and have quadrant shapes with chamfered coping. The gatepiers are large and square, topped with plain cornices and pyramidal caps.
