Description

No. 4 Castle Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It features scored stucco on the exterior, a pantiled roof, and 19th-century brick chimneys set on older brick bases. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a plinth at the base. The central door is half-glazed, and there are sash windows that are framed in raised stone surrounds. The roof is steeply pitched with gables, raised coping, and end stacks. At the rear, there is a catslide roof. Inside, the walls are approximately 3 feet thick.
