Description
The Victoria Hotel is an inn dating from the early 19th century. It features a pebbledashed exterior with painted ashlar and has a Welsh slate roof with brick chimneys. The building is two storeys tall and has four bays. The left bay includes a carriageway leading to the rear of the building. The second and third bays form the inn front, which has two decorative panelled doors with two-pane overlights on either side of a large tripartite window that has a panelled apron. This window features a high transom with dentils and is arched segmentally over the central light. Above this section, there is a corniced fascia supported by four wooden brackets. To the right, there is a 12-pane sash window set in a raised stone surround. On the first floor, there are four similar 12-pane sash windows. The roof is gabled with brick end stacks.
