Description

No. 8 Castle Street is a house and shop, likely built in the mid-19th century. It features roughly-dressed stone with stone dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building stands two storeys tall and has four irregular bays on the ground floor. There is a half-glazed door in the third bay, with two sash windows to the left. On the right side, there is a segmental carriage arch leading to a passageway. Above, there are two additional sash windows. The roof is gabled and has end stacks.
