Description
The piers and screen wall at the entrance to Eshott Hall Drive date from the mid-18th century and are constructed from tooled squared stone. The structure features square rusticated piers topped with moulded caps that support 19th-century wrought-iron gates. The gates are designed with lancehead standards and dogbars, and the upper rail includes trefoiled circles, while the middle and lower rails are adorned with scrolly ornament. Quadrant walls with chamfered coping connect to smaller outer piers that have rounded caps.
