Description
This water tower, located approximately 200 yards east of Heddon Steads, was likely built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from snecked stone and features a stone roof. The tower stands about 25 feet high and measures around 15 feet square. Access is provided by a small boarded door situated high on the west side. On both the north and south sides, there are three closely spaced battened buttresses topped with sloping caps. The structure has a gabled roof with overhanging eaves.
