20/139 Water Tower approx 200 yards east of Heddon Steads

Water tower. Probably mid C19. Snecked stone with stone roof. Approx 25 ft high and approx 15ft square. The only entry is a small boarded door high up on west side. On north and south sides 3 close-set battened buttresses and sloping caps. Gabled roof with overhanging eaves.
