Description

The garden walls at Dissington Old Hall date from the early 17th century and are constructed of random rubble, incorporating some ashlar remnants from a demolished house in the north-east corner. On the east side, there is a doorway featuring a Tudor-arched lintel and a multi-moulded surround. The east wall is topped with steeply-ridged coping that has a roll-moulded edge, while the other walls have flat coping.
