Description

The terrace wall and railings to the south of Dissington Hall were built in 1794 by William Newton. This structure features a low retaining wall made of ashlar stone with a moulded coping. The wall is flanked by iron railings that consist of four rails and newels adorned with acanthus scrolls and palmette finials.
