Description

Old Dissington Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed of dressed stone with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. It features rusticated quoins and a panelled door with an overlight, set in a raised alternating-block surround, topped with a cornice hood supported by stone brackets. The windows are 16-pane sashes, also in raised alternating-block surrounds. The roof is gabled with flat copings and corniced end stacks.
