Description
The water tower at Kimmerghame House, built in the mid-19th century, is a Gothic structure with a square plan and stands approximately 16 feet high. It is constructed from squared and snecked cream sandstone, featuring droved dressings, a cornice, a blocking course, and carved stone animal water spouts at the corners. The tower is topped with carved stone crocketed pinnacles and, until recently, had a pinnacled crown. An off-centre door on one side is adorned with a carved armorial shield above it.
