Description

The footbridge at Kimmerghame House is a late 19th-century structure designed in a Chinese style. It features a segmental arch and is made of riveted iron with a timber deck. The bridge has ten scissor-braced panels, each adorned with paterae bosses on either side. The gates are designed similarly, and there are square gatepiers topped with ball finials. The approaches and supports are constructed from squared and stugged pink sandstone.
