Description

The water tower is an early to mid-19th century structure located in Silpho. It is built from coursed rubble limestone and features a plinth, dressed quoins, and a slate roof. The tower has two stages and stands approximately 10 metres high. It has heavy plank doors at both stages, which are hung with iron hinges and topped with roughly tooled lintels. The roof is pitched. The tower was in use until around 1970.
