Description
Brandon White House is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century, with 19th-century alterations to the rear and left side. It is constructed from dressed stone and has a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and features one bay on the right and three bays on the left. Originally, it was a three-bay house with a central doorway and a single-storey addition to the left. The windows and door are set in architraves, and the sash windows have had their glazing bars removed. The left bay now has a blocked doorway and later windows. The 19th-century masonry can be seen on the first floor of the left bay and on the left return. A 19th-century kitchen projection at the rear includes 16-pane sash windows. The gables have flat coping stones, and there are three ridge stacks made of brick on stone bases. Inside, there is a large brick segment-vaulted basement.
