Description
The farm buildings located to the north-west of Brandon Farmhouse date back to 1831, as indicated by a datestone on the rear. They are primarily constructed from dressed stone with slate roofs, although some sections are made of rubble. The buildings are arranged around two yards.
In the right yard, which is accessed through a segmental arch that was heightened in 1982, there are seven segmental arches forming a two-storey range on the right. Ahead, there is a two-storey store, and to the left, a barn. The left yard features the barn on the right, a two-storey range with a granary above four segmental arches ahead, and single-storey stables to the left.
Facing the road on the right return is a cart shed supported by cast iron Tuscan columns. Additionally, in the right yard, there is a 20th-century lean-to shed in front of the central building, which is not of special interest.
