Description
The Old Smithy, located to the east of the main farmbuilding group, is a mid-19th century structure built in two phases. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The south elevation is a single storey with four bays, including a blacksmith's window on the left, while the other windows are blocked, all set within alternating-block surrounds. The left gable is coped and has a stepped-and-banded end stack. The rear elevation includes boarded double doors beneath a segmental arch, along with two additional boarded doors and later sliding doors. The building is included for its group value.
