Description
Brandon Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse built of dressed stone with a slate roof. It has two storeys and features three bays, along with two rear projections that are cross-gabled and two bays each. There are later additions to the left rear of the building. The central doorway is framed by an architrave with a projecting cornice supported by curved stone brackets. The 12-pane sash windows also have architraves, and there is a decorative band below the first-floor windows. The farmhouse has rusticated quoins, and similar decorative features are present on the returns. The left return was extended in the early 19th century in a style that matches the original, reusing the original back quoins. The building is topped with stone corniced ridge stacks.
