Description
This former chapel, now a house, was built in 1870. It features rubble construction with tooled and margined rusticated ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof that includes two 20th-century roof lights. The building has coped gables with moulded kneelers and a small stone stack on the left gable, along with a finial on the right gable. It is a single tall storey with five bays. The central gabled porch has been reduced in height in the 20th century and contains a window with intersecting glazing bars set under a pointed arch. This porch is flanked by pairs of taller 12-pane sash windows in rusticated surrounds. A 20th-century door is located in the right return of the porch. There is a stone inscribed 'WESLEYAN CHAPEL' with the date, which has been set against the wall to the left of the porch, along with removed gable finials.
