Description

The Snowball headstone, located approximately 10 yards south of the Church of St. Andrew, is a churchyard memorial dating from 1799 to John Snowball. It is made of sandstone and stands about 3 feet high. The headstone features a decorative and moulded top that includes an angel's head and wings framed by foliage. Below this, there is an inscription set in a raised oval panel with moulded edges.
