Description

The Old Vicarage is a former vicarage that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and was altered and extended in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of ashlar and dressed stone, topped with a Welsh slate roof, and has an L-shaped plan.

The front elevation is two stories high with three bays, and there is a lower two-bay service wing at the rear that was added in the early 19th century. The central entrance features a six-panel door with an overlight, set within a slightly chamfered surround. The windows are 12-pane sash windows. The roof is steeply pitched with gables, kneelers, flat coping, and corniced stacks at the ends.

The rear wing also has 12-pane sash windows. Inside, there is a staircase with stick balusters and turned newels, six-panel doors, and internal shutters. The dining room features a panelled dado.
