Description

The gate piers, gates, and quadrant walls to the Church of St. Mary were built in the mid-19th century. The gate piers are made of tooled-and-margined stone, while the walls are constructed from snecked stone. The square piers feature a band and swept dome caps, supporting double gates that have plain bars, curly-topped stiles, and a doubled middle rail. The short swept quadrant walls are topped with gabled coping.
