Description

This pant, built in 1911 to commemorate the Coronation, is located on the north side of the junction with Church Street in Longframlington Village. It is constructed from cut stone and features a rusticated square shaft that stands on a moulded plinth. The shaft is topped with a moulded cap that has a lion couchant. Above where a tap has been removed, there is an inscription that reads 'GEORGE V AND QUEEN MARY JUNE 22ND 1911'. The pant includes a monolithic stone trough with rounded ends, which is now capped over.
