Description

No. 3 Church Street is a cottage dating from the later 19th century. It is constructed of roughly-tooled stone with claw-tooled quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has a wedge-shaped plan that fits between older structures. It stands two storeys high and has one bay. The entrance features a renewed door set in a stone surround with a cornice supported by moulded brackets. To the right of the door is a narrow 2-pane casement window, while to the left is a 4-pane sash window. Above, in a gabled half dormer, is an altered 4-pane sash window. The right gable is part-coped and has an end stack. This cottage is included for its group value with nearby buildings.
