Description
Kielland is a house built in the late 18th century. It features squared stone construction, with the right side rendered. The left section has a roof made of mixed blue and purple slates, while the right side has blue synthetic slates. There are old brick stacks on the roof. The front of the house is divided into two parts that are set at different angles to fit the curve of the junction between Front Street and Church Street.
The right section is two storeys high with three bays and has a symmetrical design. It includes a central four-panel door with an overlight above it, and plain sash windows with slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped and supported by moulded kneelers, with end stacks, the right one featuring a band. The lower left section is also two storeys high with three bays. It has similar ground-floor windows, with the center and right windows inserted in former doorways. The first floor has a four-pane casement window directly beneath the eaves, located only in the central bay. There are old outshuts at the rear of the house.
An attached outbuilding set back to the right is not of interest.
