Description

No. 4 Church Street is a house built around 1770, according to information from the owner. The building features horizontally-tooled stone, with claw-tooled sills and lintels on the lower windows. It has a Welsh slate roof, and the stacks have been rebuilt in brick. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, arranged symmetrically. The central door has been renewed and is set within a 20th-century porch, with 20th-century casement windows on either side in older openings. Above, there are plain sash windows. The house has coped gables and end stacks. The porch and the 20th-century flat-roofed rear extension are not considered of special interest.
