Description

The ha-ha wall located approximately 35 yards south of Capheaton Hall is a Grade II listed structure from the mid-18th century, likely designed by Capability Brown. It is constructed of dressed stone, standing about 4 feet high and extending approximately 150 yards in length. The wall has a gentle forward curve in front of the house and features a break in the center where steps descend from the terrace.
