Description
Nos 9 to 13 on St Mary's Chare are early 19th century buildings that stand two storeys tall and feature three windows. The front is rendered, with ashlar quoins, a cill course, and lintels. The slate roof is topped with brick chimneys. The windows are glazing bar sash types. On the ground floor, there are three shop windows and three doors, all beneath a continuous fascia. These buildings, along with Nos 1 to 19A (odd), Nos 2 to 8 (even), and Nos 16 to 20 (even), as well as No 4 Meal Market, form a group, with No 1 being of local interest.
