Description
These 19th-century limekilns are located 100 metres west of Wainford Bridge, built into the side of a valley using squared stone and brick. The front features two segmental-headed drawing arches, each with two square eyes, separated by a semicircular pier. There is a stone band beneath a brick parapet, which is partly fallen. The structure includes twin oval brick-lined pots and is currently disused.
