Description

The footbridge at Wylam Station is a cast-iron structure built in the late 19th century. It spans over the railway line and is supported by two elliptical iron arches, each featuring three circles in the spandrels. The bridge has a trellis-work parapet, which is held up by curved stanchions, and there are ball finials at the corners of the parapet.
