17/228 Durhamfield farm house and adjacent outbuildings.

House, date 1691 with initials C and I on lintel; outbuildings late C18 or early C190 Coursed rubble with cut quoins and dressings; stone slab roofs, stone stacks. House 2 storeys, 2 wide bays. Central renewed door in surround with moulding stepped at head, flanked by C20 casements, the left beneath head and label of C17 4-light window, 1st floor C20 casements in C19 openings with shaped keyed lintels. Stepped end stacks, that to left rebuilt on old base.

Left outbuilding has vertical-panelled door with stone-surround door on left; boarded pitching door above flanked by slit vents. Left return shows reverse-stepped gable. Right outbuilding has boarded door in chamfered surround flanked by part-slatted windows; boarded. pitching door above flanked by similar windows, timber lintels to upper openings.

Rear elevation: outbuildings each have boarded 1st floor doors (external stone stair to that on left) and slit vents Late C19 rear wing of house not of special interest.
