Description

This boundary stone, located south-east of a fence corner, is likely from the late 18th century. Made of sandstone, it stands 0.70 metres high and features a flat top. The letters "DC" are inscribed on the west side, while the letter "B" is on the east side, which probably refer to the Dean and Chapter of Durham and the Bishop of Durham.
