Description

This boundary stone, likely dating from 1823, is located at the boundary between Durham and Northumberland. It is made of sandstone and has a roughly-shaped rectangular form, standing 0.6 metres high. The letters "DC" are inscribed on the south side, while "CM" is on the north side.
