Description

The sundial base, located approximately 30 yards south of Pawston Old House, is likely from the 17th century and made of sandstone. It features a round plinth and a round column that stands about 3 feet high, with the base adorned with foliage. Halfway up the column, there are grotesque heads and festoons, and the top is finished with a Tuscan capital. The gnomon and plate are missing.
