Description
The farm buildings to the east of Mollersteads Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from rubble with tooled-and-margined dressings and feature stone slate roofs, except for the extensions on the east range, which have Scots slates. The buildings are arranged in an L-plan, with ranges on the north and east sides of the yard. The north range has two boarded doors with an 8-pane fixed window above and between them, while the east range has two boarded doors with slit vents in between. The doorways and window are set in alternating block surrounds. There are later 19th-century extensions to the right, which include a stable door, and to the rear.
