Description

Higham Dykes Farmhouse and attached shelter sheds are a house and farm building dating from the 18th century. The farmhouse is rendered and painted, topped with a Welsh slate roof, while the shelter shed is constructed from dressed stone. The farmhouse is two storeys high and features two broad bays with an almost central boarded door. On the ground floor, there are 16-pane sash windows, while the upper floor has smaller 6-pane sashes. The roof is steeply pitched and gabled, with tall rendered end stacks. The single-storey farm building attached to the left has one elliptical arch in its gabled end, along with a boarded door and a casement window on the right return.
