CORBRIDGE FARNLEY NZ 06 SW 10/137 Yard walls and outbuildings to north of Farnley farmhouse

GV II

Yard walls and outbuildings, probably early C19 remodelled mid-C19. Rubble with cut dressings; Welsh slate roofs. Larger outbuilding (known as Cuckoo Cottage) has boarded door in east end and 16-pane Yorkshire sash on north, both in stop-chamfered surrounds. Coped gables with moulded kneelers, stepped stone west end stack, ridge louvre with slatted sides and pyramid cap. Attached yard walls have monolithic jambs to gateways, and gabled copings; north wall links to smaller building with boarded door in north end, and coped gables with moulded kneelers.
