Description
The garden wall attached to the southwest corner of Otterburn Tower dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The section next to the house features a castellated design and includes a doorway with a four-centred arch, complete with a boarded and studded door. To the left, the wall steps down in several stages, with square end piers marking each stage. At one point, the wall is interrupted by steps that have boldly-curved ends. This structure is included for its group value with the tower.
