Description
The cart shed and walls to the west of Pegswood Farm were built around 1870 as part of a planned farm complex. The structure is made of snecked tooled stone with tooled-and-margined dressings, and features brick internal walls topped with a Welsh slate roof. The north elevation has four bays, with boarded double doors on the right and an open arcade on the left supported by cast-iron columns and timber lintels. The gables are coped.
On the right side, there is a part-slatted window and an adjacent stone trough. A short wall at the back connects to a low roadside wall that has arched coping. To the far right, this wall ramps up to join the main group of farm buildings. To the far left, there is a gateway and a section of wall with gabled coping that connects to the garden wall.
