Office And Stable, With Attached Wall And Gateway Circa 20 Yards West Of Eslington Park

This building is an office and stable, with an attached wall and gateway, located approximately 20 yards west of Eslington Park. It dates from the early 19th century and was remodelled in 1858 for Lord Ravensworth. The structure is built of ashlar with Welsh slate and asbestos roofs.

The building is two stories high and features a seven-bay range, with a higher one-bay block at the front. The front block includes a two-light mullioned window with a raised surround and 12-pane sash windows on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is a similar window with 8-pane sashes, and above it, a 12-pane sash window is set in a gabled half dormer. The ground-floor window displays the Ravensworth coat of arms, while the date and the letter "R" for Ravensworth are positioned above the first-floor window. The roof is hipped and topped with a vane.

The rear range consists of seven bays, featuring four boarded doors and 16-pane sashes on the ground floor, as well as two pitching doors and 6-pane sashes on the first floor. All openings have plain raised surrounds, and the roof is hipped on the right side. The building retains contemporary stable fittings.

Attached to the right side of the structure is a high wall that has a flat coping and rusticated gatepiers topped with ball finials.
