Description
The garden walls and attached kennels located to the north of Embleton Hall date from the 18th century, with the kennels added in the later 19th century. The walls are made of squared stone with cut dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof on the kennels. The structure is in an L-shape and stands approximately 2.5 meters high, with a flat coping along the west side of the garden that connects to the north-west corner of an outbuilding at the south end. Near the south end, there are a pair of kennels with pent roofs against the east face of the wall, along with attached yard walls that have arched coping on the west side. A similar wall runs along the north of the garden, with coping that ramps down to the east. An attached shed on the west, a greenhouse on the north, and the lower eastern section of the north wall are not considered of special interest. The structure is included for its group value.
