Description
29-31 Market Street, including 1-4 White Hart Lane, is a plain early 19th century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys high and features two windows. The exterior is made of ashlar stone with a slate roof that has a coped verge on the left side and two chimneys. The building has late glazed sash windows, with two lights on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is a through passage to the left, next to a large window with glazing bars. The section known as County House has a modern shop front and entrance.
At the rear of No. 29, there is a two-storey annexe with four windows, which is rendered and has a pantiled roof. This annexe includes a taller gabled end pavilion with a slate roof and two windows.
