Description

This is a farmbuilding range located 30 metres south-west of Coldwell Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. The barn was remodeled with the addition of a stable to the south in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with roughly-shaped quoins and some cut dressings, topped with Welsh slate roofs.

The elevation facing the farmyard features a two-storey barn with four bays. The second bay includes a boarded door set in an irregular-block surround, flanked by slit vents at two levels. The right end bay has a pair of boarded doors beneath tooled-and-margined lintels, with a part-slatted window above. The gables are coped and have moulded kneelers. To the left, there is a projecting single-storey stable that has a small casement window with an opening above, also under a coped gable with moulded kneelers, and a boarded door on the inner return.

The rear elevation displays boarded doors at both ground and first floor levels, along with slit vents and a small window.
