Description

8 to 12 Lisburn Street forms part of the Howick Street development, built after 1831. The terrace comprises six properties, each two storeys high and two windows wide. They are constructed of ashlar stone, with a continuous stone cill band and a moulded eaves cornice. The roofs are slate-covered, with a hipped roof on the corner property facing Howick Street. Doorways are located to the right of each property. Modern plate glass casement windows detract from the original appearance. Number 12 has a two-window return elevation to Howick Street, and incorporates a blind window on the first floor, displaying a sash rebate. This property also includes the former number 13 Howick Street.
